Submitted papers will be carefully evaluated based on originality, significance, technical soundness, and clarity of exposition. All papers will be refereed by at least two members of the program committee. Accepted papers will be published by IEEE Computer Society Press, as proceedings of the SAMnet 2008 workshop. ELECTRONIC SUBMISSION The paper submissions must use the exact ACM SIG templates. 1.Please find the template at http://www.acm.org/sigs/pubs/proceed/template.html 2.Each paper should not exceed more than 8 pages inclusive of diagrams and graphs. 3.Please use the style ¡§Strict Adherence to SIGS style ¡V (Sheridan Printing)¡¨ on that page. 4.There are also word and word perfect templates linked on the template page. 5.Each paper should not exceed 8 pages including diagrams and tables. Submission of a paper implies that should the paper be accepted, at least one of the authors will register and present the paper in the workshop. Each accepted paper must have a full registration in order to include the paper in the workshop proceedings, unless the author(s) of the paper are all students. Accepted papers will be given guidelines in preparing and submitting the final manuscript(s) together with the notification of acceptance. SELECTED BEST PAPERS A number of selected best papers will be collected to (1) a special issue on "Cross-Layer Design for Future Generation Wireless Networks", Wireless Personal Communications.
